Wilsden Junior AFC was formed in 1996 and now boasts teams in all age groups ranging from U6s to U17s and with well over 170 players has become one of the largest clubs in the area.

Wilsden is located approximately six miles from Bradford city centre in West Yorkshire, UK and attracts and welcomes children from other towns and villages within our area.

All our coaches are required to become CRB (criminal records bureau) checked in line with child protection policies and have the FA recommended first aid qualification.

The club also offers and encourages new managers and coaches the chance to attend the 'F.A Level 1' course as soon as possible and then on to 'Level 2'.

The club is affiliated to the West Riding County FA and our teams play mainly in Keybury Alarms Youth and Craven, Aire and Wharfe Leagues. The aims of the club are to:

  • Provide an opportunity for children to develop their football skills.
  • Allow children to participate in formally managed coaching sessions
  • Promote youth football in the community

We are now an F.A.Charter Standard Club.
